Adelphia NetPak is an online subscription service that packages together some of the most popular entertainment sites on the Internet into one-much smaller-monthly expense.  The services that are included through Adelphia NetPak are Shockwave Gameblast, Encyclopedia Britannica, American Greetings, Clever Island, CNN NewsPass, MLB.com, and the premium services through Weather.com.

Who Can Order Adelphia NetPak?

You must have Adelphia high speed Internet services to be able to order Adelphia NetPak.  Additionally, there are certain computer requirements, such as a minimum of a 400 MHz Intel or AMD processor, Windows 98 or more recent, Internet Explorer 6. 0 or higher, Real Player 6.0 or higher, 256 MB of RAM, a 16 bit sound card and speakers, a 65,000 color video display card, and plug ins for Macromedia Flash, Shockwave, and Active X.  Having these programs and system requirements will ensure that the services offered through NetPak will work smoothly. 

Descriptions of the Adelphia NetPak Services

• Shockwave Gameblast:  A service offering a library of over 100 online computer games with exclusive features, such as extra levels, newer versions, full-screens, no popups or ads and bonus features. 
• Encyclopedia Britannica:  This service provides the opportunity to search through a 32-volume online encyclopedia, as well as an online dictionary, thesaurus and atlas. 
• American Greetings:  A service that allows members to choose from a selection of over 8,000 online greeting cards to send to friends and family over e-mail. 
• CleverIsland:  This service is a learning program filled with activities that help children to develop their language skills, cognitive development, critical thinking and logic. 
• CNN:  CNN Now in the News and CNN NewsPass provide members with news videos, live news castings, up-to-the-minute coverage on breaking news, Interviews and more. 
• MLB.com:  This service provides members with games, videos, radio and highlights on Major League Baseball. 

Weather.com Premium Services:  This service provides interactive local, regional, and national video weather reports and updates.
