Cox Communications began as a small company called Cox Enterprises Inc.  What began with a small newspaper, is now a multi-billion dollar communications and technology company.  Today, Cox Communications is the third-largest cable provider in the United States, serving 6.7 million customers and employing more than 23,000 people.
