How is the Comcast Assistant Used?
When you first begin to use the Comcast Assistant, you’ll notice that there are eight different “modules,” or areas of interest, to the Assistant. These are:
Top Movies
View the latest top, opening and upcoming movies. With this module, you won’t have to worry about visiting a separate Web site to learn about upcoming flicks!
Stock Watch List
Enter in and keep track of your stocks with the click of a button. Check up on your stocks’ performance as you surf the Internet.
Bookmarks
Save your favorite Web sites and access them from any computer with an Internet connection and a Web browser. If you’d like to add bookmarks, click the “add bookmark” button and then type in the name and URL of the Web site you’d like saved.
Scores
Keep track of the scores of your favorite sports games. Select only the teams you want displayed.
Weather
Stay up-to-date on current and future weather conditions for your local area and travel destinations as well.
Control Panel
Use the Control Panel module to give you access to Comcast’s most popular downloads and all of the “my account” functions. For example,access your Video Mail, Comcast Photo Show and Comcast Rhapsody.
Horoscopes
Learn about your future with this fun module! All you have to do is select your astrological sign from the list, and every time you visit the module you can read your horoscope.
Mail Preview
Check to see what new mail you have and who it’s from without actually opening your inbox.
Comcast Assistant Appearance
Not every Comcast Internet customer is going to want to use each of these modules. To choose which topic areas you would like to see in your Assistant, simply click the “Modify Assistant” button. Doing so will allow you to check and un-check the appropriate boxes. Once you’re finished, click “done.” Your Assistant has now been successfully modified.
You can adjust the order of the modules in your Comcast Assistant as well. To do so, simply click on one of the modules, hold down your mouse button and then drag it to the desired position. Take advantage of Comcast Internet deals today!
