- A: Call your service provider directly. (More Info - This rarely happens, but it does happen after service upgrades, after storms or floods, etc. Only your broadband service provider can help you with this.)
- Try: For high speed Internet, try to reset your cable modem by turning it off, waiting 10 seconds, and then turning it on again. For cable TV, try the same with your cable box. If this doesn't work, there may be a larger issue and you should contact your service provider directly.
- Q: Have you received my service order? ^BACK
- A: Orders are confirmed through email. Your service provider will automatically send out an email to the email address you provided during the registration/order/purchase. If you haven't received your email confirmation within 24 hours, please contact your service provider directly.
- Try: Check "spam" or "bulk" filters in your email program to make sure that the confirmation email was not mistakenly filtered out there. If that doesn't work, please contact your service provider directly for more information.

- A: The installation information is generally emailed to you after you place an order. - A: Different companies have different rules in regards to how new customers are defined. On average, most companies define new customers as those with accounts in good standing that have not had service for 60-120 days depending on provider. Contact your provider for more information.
- Q: Do I need a separate cable line installed to get cable Internet (high speed Internet) or cable phone/digital phone? ^BACK
- A: No. Your cable broadband service provider will send a serviceman to "split" your existing cable line to allow voice and data transmission at the same time. This means you can watch your TV, and if you have cable/digital phone, talk on your phone, while one of your family members is browsing the Internet at the same time.
- Q: Where and how can I get a cable modem for high speed Internet? ^BACK
- A: Many of the cable broadband providers offer a free modem when you purchase their service. (More Info - The more you purchase the larger the savings. If the free cable modem offer exists, you will generally see that directly on the offer page.)
