A Word about Nintendo
Nintendo is one of the most storied and recognizable brand names in the video gaming industry. The Nintendo brand of gaming dates all the way back to 1889 and the classic “Hanafuda” gaming cards that were released in Kyoto, Japan. From those humble beginnings, Nintendo grew to become one of the largest electronics companies in the world, with well known games like the “Legend of Zelda,” the “Super Mario Bros.” series and “Donkey Kong.” Nintendo gaming systems started with the popular NES system and progressed from Super NES, to Nintendo 64, to Nintendo Gamecube and soon to Nintendo Revolution. If you’ve never played on a Nintendo gaming system before, then more than likely, you’ve never played a video game before.
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2 for Nintendo is the follow up release to the successful multi-player game, Battlefield. Developed by renowned game makers Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions, Battlefield 2 is a game geared towards a mature audience. This modern war video game takes players from the United States, China and the Middle East Coalition and puts them into a war scenario where they do battle on massive multi-player levels.
In order to participate in the online multi-player version of Battlefield 2, you will need to have a high speed broadband Internet connection to avoid any lag or latency. Once you are connected to the network, you can participate in some of the biggest multi-player games around.
Battlefield 2 was released in June of 2005 and is considered to be a first-person shooter game. Available expansion packs include Battlefield 2: Special Forces and is rated mature for violence and adult themes.
