Find Deals on Software Programs with Shareware or Freeware!

If you want to try new software or applications for your computer, but you aren’t sure what you like or want, shareware may be a good option for you. 

Shareware is software you can download for free on a trial basis.  All shareware programs are different in nature, however.  For example, some shareware distributors will request a small fee that is not required, but appreciated and others will either cut off access or only grant limited access to the program until the fee is paid.

Regardless of the scenario, if you like the shareware program that you are using, it will most likely cost less for you to keep the full version than a more popular or expensive program.

Shareware and Freeware

Shareware and freeware are a lot like their names imply - shareware is free to download and “shared” with users, but will not stay free indefinitely.  Freeware is free to download, you receive the full version of the program and you can keep it free of charge. 

Keep in mind that freeware is still copyrighted, so you shouldn’t try to use it for other applications.

Where to Find Shareware and Freeware

If you search for “shareware” or “freeware” in most search engines, you will get tons of responses for websites with material to download.  Most of these are legitimate, but look at the terms of agreement before downloading any programs.
