Safari, Apple's Internet Browser |
|
Safari browser is Apple’s ultimate browser. Built on KHTML and KJS technologies, the Safari browser is able to keep their size down significantly, allowing the system to run smoother and faster. Safari Browser also has a clean and minimal design, again, allowing the browser to run faster. Safari creators have stressed that although the design happens to be on the clean and simple side, features are not lacking. Safari browser has several features that are not offered in other browsers, such as the feature that Google search has included in the window at all times and a feature called SnapBack. Safari browser’s SnapBack makes it easy to navigate and research because it will remember the very first search you made of the day and “snap you back” to that page or another that you were surfing. How Does Safari Browser Compare to Other Browsers?Safari browser is faster and more advanced than any Windows browser around, including Internet Explorer, Netscape, and AOL. Because Safari browser is only 3MB, the browser itself will load 40 percent faster, and Safari browser will load actual Web pages three times faster than Internet Explorer, which is 7MB. Both browsers are sufficiently faster than Netscape, which holds 19MB. The appearance of Safari browser is also much more simple and clean-cut than any other browser. Safari browser’s design came from those of Mac OS X and iTunes, with the sophisticated, useful, and modern exterior. However, just because the appearance seems to be bare and minimalist, does not mean that Safari browser is just that. There are actually tons of interesting features in Safari - the creators just decided to eliminate the elements that no one uses in Netscape and Internet Explorer in an effort to save room and loading time and to keep things simple. And it worked. With the elimination of so many unimpressive buttons and features, Safari became the fastest browser on the market. Who Can Use Safari Browser?Safari browser can only be used with an Apple computer. Apple users must also be running Mac OS X in order for the Safari browser to function correctly. Unfortunately, PC users lose out on being able to use the Safari browser. |
