What XCam2 Is

XCam2 is a wireless video camera smaller than an iPod (with an optional battery pack for greater flexibility) with a receiver that connects to your TV, VCR or PC system. Actiontec has released a new product called 54 Mbps Wireless Network Camera that provides extra security inside or outside any home. It is capable of connecting to a wireless network and through the Internet.  Live video can be captured and broadcast anywhere around the world. Practically speaking, the camera requires high-speed broadband Internet cable or DSL connections at both ends because the streaming video feed from the camera demands a lot of bandwidth. However, just when you thought it was safe to go into the recreation room, there’s a new twist on security. The Rbot worm attacks Microsoft security weaknesses and sets up a Trojan horse. Once installed on a computer infected by the MyDoom worm, remote hackers can easily gain access to your PC, hard drive and passwords.
