AT&T Announces U-Verse 10 Mbps High-Speed Internet for Small Business |

May 19, 2008 AT&T announced the immediate availability of its U-verse platform for high-speed Internet access to small businesses in more than 40 U.S. markets. The service will deliver download speeds of 10 Mbps and can serve up to 32 Internet access connections over business customers' existing telephone wiring. AT&T plans to expand Business U-Verse into its entire 22-state local service footprint over the coming months and offers the service in different tiers ranging from $40 to $100 per month. Additional Features of AT&T Business U-Verse High-Speed InternetAT&T Business U-Verse provides high-speed wired and wireless connectivity through the use of advanced, fiber-based Internet Protocol infrastructure. In addition to faster Internet access speeds, its customers will be offered nearly unlimited email storage and powerful online security packages which include anti-spyware, anti-virus, pop-up blocker, and SpamGuard Plus. AT&T Business U-Verse subscribers will also receive wireless office networking allowing users the ability to send and receive large data files, view streaming video, and access other high-bandwidth applications while using a wireless-enabled laptop or other device, all at no additional cost.
