AT&T has announced the launch of AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet, and AT&T U-verse Voice to residents in the Salinas and Monterey area. The AT&T U-verse suite of services is delivered over AT&T's advanced Internet Protocol (IP) network.
AT&T U-verse TV Features
Where available, local AT&T U-verse TV features include: a selection of subscription options featuring 100 percent digital programming, up to 350 channels, HD-ready equipment, packages which include an HD-ready digital video recorder (DVR); a Spanish-language package; AT&T U-verse Total Home DVR, which allows you to watch recorded programs from a single DVR on any connected TV in the home; more than 85 HD channels; the ability to set your DVR from any location and to record up to four programs at once; AT&T Online Photos from Flickr on your TV screen; AT&T U-bar for customizable weather, stock, sports, and traffic information to the TV screen; Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football; Yellowpages.com TV; AT&T Yahoo! Games; a growing Video On Demand (VOD) library of movies and events; parental controls; and much more.
AT&T U-verse Voice Service
AT&T U-verse Voice next-generation digital voice service features include: a single, combined voice mailbox for AT&T U-verse Voice and AT&T wireless messages with U-verse Messaging; an online portal to manage your call preferences and settings; online voice mailbox to check, manage, and forward voice mail from the online portal, much like an e-mail inbox; the ability to view your call logs from your PC or your TV screen; the ability to make a call from your PC or TV using Click to Call, which will initiate a call from your home phone to any number in your call history; an online address book; simultaneous ringing on up to four wireless or landline numbers; traditional calling features such as call screening, call blocking, do not disturb, and privacy settings; and 911 service. Where available via the local 911 network, U-verse Voice customers will have Enhanced 911 (E911) service.
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet for Consumers and Small Businesses
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet offers more bandwidth and faster available speeds. The five package options include: Max 18 with downstream speeds up to 18.0 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.5 Mbps; Max with downstream speeds up to 10.0 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.5 Mbps; Elite with downstream speeds up to 6.0 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.0 Mbps; Pro with downstream speeds up to 3.0 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.0 Mbps; and Express with downstream speeds up to 1.5 Mbps and upstream speeds up to 1.0 Mbps. All packages include wireless home or office networking at no extra cost, and access to the nation's largest Wi-Fi network with free unlimited connectivity at more than 17,000 hot spot locations.
