Twilight premiering On Demand on Cox
March 23, 2009
The cult favorite film Twilight, about a teenage vampire and his quest for love, premiered On Demand the same day the movie was released on DVD, for cable subscribers of Cox Digital Cable.
Cox Communications, the third-largest cable television company in the U.S., said it also plans to offer more hit titles as soon as they are released on DVD, including popular and award-winning hits such as The Wrestler, Frost/Nixon, Bride Wars and Yes Man.
Twilight fans can tune to channel 1 with their Cox Digital Cable remote to access the movie in both standard and high-definition, the company announced. Customers can go to Movies on Demand in the On Demand library and select the Early Screening and Same Day as DVD options to see all the titles currently available.
The cable company provides a library of more than 6,000 hours of movies and shows, including high-definition content and exclusive programming. The majority of On Demand programming is free.
Customers can watch what they want at any time tuning to the On Demand menu on channel 1.
