Comcast Digital Voice Exceeds One Million Customers

Comcast Corporation, the nation’s leading provider of cable and communications products, has just announced that it has surpassed 1 million Digital Voice subscribers in less than two years. This is due, in part, to Comcast’s Triple Play bundle - offering Digital Voice, Digital Cable and High-Speed Internet for $33 per product.

In a press released earlier this week, Steve Burke, chief operating officer of Comcast Corporation stated, “Comcast Digital Voice and the Triple Play bundle continue to exceed our expectations. Customers are attracted to the convenience of the service and the value of the $33x3 offer.”

Comcast Digital Voice is not the only product to reach a significant milestone this year. Comcast is now the first broadband provider to acquire over 10 million High-Speed Internet customers. Comcast is also the nation’s largest video provider with 23.3 million cable customers.

To keep up with Triple Play’s success, Comcast plans to add up to 4,000 new jobs in the coming year, a significant increase in the company’s original projection of 3,000 new jobs. The 4,000 new employees will join Comcast’s current 66,000-member cable division workforce in helping connect customers to Comcast Digital Voice and other cable, entertainment and communications products and services.
