Comcast Unveils Comprehensive "Constant Guard" Internet Security Program

Comcast has announced that it has put the finishing touches on its comprehensive security program aimed to protect its high-speed Internet customers. The new Internet security program, called "Constant Guard", helps protect Comcast customers from bots, viruses, and other sophisticated online security threats. In-browser notifications will alert customers if their computers seem to be infected with a harmful virus or bot. The customer will then be guided to Comcast's Anti-Virus Center, where they can follow a set of instructions to eradicate the threat from their computer system and prevent spreading the virus to others.
The new Comcast Security Program offers the following:
-An active security customer service team that responds to customer inquiries and other security issues-Technology software including McAfee Security Suite and the Comcast Toolbar which included additional computer virus protection
-A specialized Security Channel that offers tips, tools, and educational material regarding online security for Comcast customers
