Cox High-Speed Internet Wins Award for Service

Cox High-Speed Internet services have just received PC Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award for excellence.  This is the third year in a row that Cox has won this prestigious award. 

The PC Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award is voted on by over 9,000 customers of various Internet providers, including DSL and satellite customers.  Cox is especially proud that it is their customers who are rating them with such satisfactory results. 

The winner came from the results of a survey, consisting of 10 questions that consumers had to answer.  The questions were based on how satisfied people were with their Internet connections - rating them on a scale from 1-10.   

The Results

Cox Internet services received an overall score of 8.1.  The average industry score was 7.5, which makes Cox a step above the rest.  Cox ranked especially high in connection speed, reliability, e-mail features and availability, cost and customer service. 

The most recognized features of Cox High-Speed Internet services were their concern for Internet safety and security.  Every Cox customer has access to free security software, including anti-virus, anti-spyware, spam blocker, pop-up blocker, firewall protection, and parental controls to ensure that all of their customers are safe from the threats of the Internet.  Additionally, Cox offers a lot of information to its customers involving Internet safety to make sure everyone understands why they should be protected. 

Another impressive element of Cox High-Speed Internet services is their dedication to customer service.  Not only do they take care of the concerns of their customers in a timely manner, but they also encourage their customers to make recommendations for service.  Often these recommendations will be implemented to enhance their services.  After all, no one knows what makes customers happy better than the customers themselves.
