Cox Business Supports National Cable Contest for Women Business Owners

Cox Business has announced that Cox customers in Orange County, CA and Rhode Island will be eligible for the "Digital Growth Contest," a national contest for women business owners. Contest winners will receive free Cox Business services for one year and other prizes intended to help boost business growth for the winner's companies.

The contest coincides with National Business Women's Week and continues through November 13. Winners will be announced in December.

Cox Business Supports Women- and Minority-Owned Businesses

"Cox Business has a strong tradition of local philanthropy and positive relationships with women- and minority-owned businesses," said Kristine Faulkner, vice president of product development and management for Cox Business. "Through the Digital Growth Contest, Cox Business is providing a communications technology grant that will help propel women business leaders to a higher level of operation."

National "Digital Growth Contest" Running Nationwide

Managed by Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), the Digital Growth national contest will run simultaneously in 11 cable systems nationwide, across multiple cable operators. The contest is an important component of CTAM's broader initiative, "Cable Means Business," which raises awareness of the cable industry's communications solutions for businesses. The Digital Growth Contest is co-sponsored by Ladies Who Launch, a multiplatform lifestyle company that supports female entrepreneurs.
