Cox Launches 23 New HD Channels in James City County, VA

October 29, 2009

Cox Communications recently rolled out 23 additional HD channels for their customers in James City County, Virginia. These same channels are already available to Cox customers in Chesapeake, Gloucester, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, West Point, parts of Williamsburg, New Kent, York, and King and Queen counties.

To receive the new HD channels, Cox customers must have appropriate cable TV service. These new HD channels will be available to Cox cable TV customers for no additional monthly charge.

With these additions, Cox now offers a total of 67 popular HD channels. The new HD channels for James City County customers are listed below:

-Bravo HD (channel 761)
-Cartoon Network HD (channel 717)
-CMT HD (channel 733)
