Verizon announces sweepstakes tied to HBO's Entourage

Just in time for the start of the sixth season of the series Entourage on HBO July 12, Verizon FiOS is offering fans a chance to win online instant prizes like flat-screen TVs and Entourage DVD sets, as well as a grand-prize trip for two to Los Angeles.

Terry Denson, vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon, said the contest allows the winners to experience the ultimate Entourage lifestyle.

Entourage "embodies a lifestyle that many would like to experience, even just once," he said.

In addition to providing information about the sweepstakes, the Verizon HBO Experience microsite offers games and other interactive channels for fans of the show, including a VIP Game Room with trivia based on character quotes and memorable moments; downloads including Entourage wallpaper; and a Which Entourage Character Are You? game.

Visitors to the website can also play the Daily Instant Win Game tab and play for a chance to win a 52-inch TV, Entourage DVDs and gift cards. Customers can play every day for more chances to win.

The website features information about offers for customers to upgrade their FiOS TV and high-speed internet services, including programming from HBO.
