Verizon FiOS TV Available to More Harrisburg, Pa. Communities

Verizon FiOS TV is now available to nearly 87,000 homes and businesses in 10 additional Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York County communities in the Harrisburg, Pa. area.


FiOS TV comes to area residents as a result of recent votes by municipal officials which authorized Verizon to offer its fiber-optic-powered FiOS TV in these communities.

The communities are: the boroughs of Hummelstown, West Hanover, Steelton, Mechanicsburg, Highspire, and Paxtang, and the townships of Susquehanna, Londonderry, Silver Spring, and Monaghan.

Verizon FiOS TV Features

Verizon FiOS TV offers consumers a broad range of programming choices and superior picture quality from the television services delivered over an advanced all-fiber network directly connecting to millions of individual homes and businesses.

Verizon is now offering 88 high-definition (HD) channels to consumers in the market, with plans to offer 100 HD channels by year's end. Nationally, FiOS Internet is available in parts of 16 states, and FiOS TV is offered to 8.2 million consumers and businesses in parts of 14 states.

New FiOS TV Customers Will Have Access to Premium Entertainment Packages

New FiOS TV residential customers who subscribe to FiOS TV by the end of the year will be eligible to enjoy free access for 90 days to three premium entertainment packages --Cinemax, HBO, and FiOS TV's Movie Package, which includes Showtime, Starz, The Movie Channel, Encore, Sundance Channel and IFC. This package includes 40 HD premium channels as well as more than 9,000 free video-on-demand titles every month.
